The Omaha Stormwater Program will have an educational booth at this event for some family fun!

The Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District’s is hosting M.O.R.E. Nature (Metro Omaha Resources for Exploring Nature) Nature Nights at Metro Omaha schools.  At each event are typically 10-15 nature based activities for children and their parents to take part in.  These activities are set up to be “come and go” activities so a family could drop by the station at any time during the event and do a short project (i.e. models, specimens, craft/art projects, simulations, etc…).  Some of the stations at Nature Nights last year included: “Suncatchers” with Nebraskans for Solar, “Storm-water Model” with the City of Omaha Stormwater Program, “Insects” with the Omaha Children’s Museum, “Animal Pelts” with the Henry Doorly Zoo, and “Incredible Insects”/”Critters” with the Papio-Missouri River NRD.
